Times they are a'changing, they certainly have since I first started playing online bingo.
Once upon a time a new bingo site would be born and if you were lucky enough you got in there first .. a few weeks of winning would follow because the membership would be quite low and so the odds of winning would be better.
That doesn't seem to be the case now. Have a look at Bingo Hollywood ... the free rooms are HEAVING and it's not been around that long. I wondered how it had become so popular so quickly as it wasn't advertised on TV .. and then yesterday I saw that they ARE on TV now. So I guess we can expect to see it really take off .
Unfortunately I've gone off it a bit ... not because there are so many players but because I'm seeing the same names crop up far too often ... already. I don't know if you play the £30.00 freebie for funded players but it's a popular game with players well into three figures and there you go ... same winners time after time.
I know we've all got varying opinions on why the same names crop up and I guess none of us know why it happens .. but there's one thing that's guarenteed to put me off and that's seeing a name crop up, regularly, against all the odds... (and I mean day after day, not just a lucky run one day).
Ah well .. never mind ... there are enough bingo sites out there, old and new, to keep me happy for decades to come :-)
