Hiya everybody, I'm sure by now that you've all heard about the supposedly wonderful new online bingo site that is Bingo Hollywood, and i'd imagine that a number of you have also joined, of course offering some great incentives like a 300% first deposit bonus along with an ongoing 75% reload bonus they're bound to attract a lot of new players.
I personally, along with my partner opened an account on the second day of Bingo Hollywood launching, as seems the norm for me, funds were soon spent with very few wins over £80 from the two seperate accounts. Am I just a sore loser or is the ongoing issue with the existence of site players rearing it's ugly head again? Well my point is this, the site runs an hourly free 90 ball game with a J/P of £30 spread over 1 line, 2 lines and the full house, this game runs from 5.30pm to 11.30 which give a combined total of 21 chances to win something, on average 100-150 players enter this freebie (the figures are rising fast), but i've played this since the sites launch and hey ho not a win to be seen!
Whilst the above is purely a slight moan about the issues which we've all raised before, my following experience with their customer service is what I really wish to tell you about. Like I say I opened an account and deposited £10, I then sent a friend referral for my partner to join, once she had done so and deposited a minimum of £10, than we should of both received £5 each for the refer a friend bonus (Confusingly some parts of the site state this at £10 each?)
However, having opened two depositing accounts with two seperate names and two seperate debit cards registered, bonus
points were never given.
I raised this issue with their customer services, and their reply (in very poor English, akin to being answered by an indian call centre, hence me calling them Bingo Bollywood) stated that because two accounts had been generated by the same I.P address (same computer) that therefore they refused to honour the friend referral bonus, claiming that this is made clear in their Ts & Cs.
I checked the Ts & Cs of this site and it states no such thing, so with the bit between my teeth i e-mailed them again, they replyed by accusing me very bluntly of having two accounts, that my partner was non-existent and basically trying to make a fraudulent claim!
Customer service? I cannot sum up in words or expletives what I truly feel about Bingo Hollywood, GRRR!!

| jollyredgiant 7th May 2010 | I don't understand why they should make an issuue of this as I have referred my partner on a few of the other cashcade sites and I have always received the bonus money. It is generally the norm that if you refer someone from the same address you aren't eligible for the bonus... well I've always received it and my partner is at the same address. That said, I didn't try it on hollywood, and I'm glad I didn't now lol. As for the games on there, they are now monopolised by the same winners all the time. No wonder you can't get a win in the £30 games, nor can I tsk tsk |
 bobbylove7th May 2010 | I haven't had any dealings with customer support there .. Thank the Lord ... but I've seen enough of the site to be right OFF it. Those £30.00 free game wins seem to be exclusive to a certain few players and there's nowt going to put me off a site more than seeing that. |
 Bonbon7th May 2010 | I hate it when sites go by your IP address. There are loads of people in my house that play bingo and my friend comes along with her laptop sometimes too. I steer clear now anyway and I haven't been on "Bollywood" (lol) since I used up my bonus. Same winners all the time |

| Jason 7th May 2010 | Update: I have subsequently e-mailed this site again as I refuse to allow them to accuse me of acting in a fraudulent manner, the following paragraph was just part of what they first replied: Please note however that the rules of the promotion are implemented for a reason; as we cannot see the persons in your household, there is no way we can prove that both accounts are not yours - please note that we are doubting the fact that the other account is your partners, but you would be suprised to see how many person would try to claim the same bonus many times. Therefore, we term and condition was implemented. I am still waiting on a response although I feel my wait may be in vain! :( |

| muttley44 8th May 2010 | Just a comment on the free £30 games - I have been lucky enough to win lines on these games three times over the past two days and much as I hate to disappoint all those with theories of game 'fixing', I am an ordinary player just like you who just happens to be having a run of good luck. No doubt your turn will come and my lucky streak will end but be assured from one who 'monopolises' the free games - THEY AINT FIXED. |

| bobbylove 8th May 2010 | well done on winning Lynda :-) I'm sure the games aren't "fixed" .. they just 'happen' to distribute the wins amongst a lot of the same players. If that's what the software does then that's what the software does, but it will always put some folk off :-) |

I really don't understand why you can't recommend your partner if it is obviously a different account and name. I recommended my partner to amother site and he was accepted with no problems. |
| jollyredgiant 8th May 2010 | I wasn't suggesting that the game is fixed, merely that the same 'winning' names crop up over and over again on this site, not just on the £30 game but in all the bingo rooms as far as I can see, at all hours of the day and night, regardless of the number of people playing!
