Have only been playing in free bingo a few days now. Have really enjoyed it but find it very odd the the CHs can not only play in the bingo games but can win the games!!! I'm not saying I'm against this practise or that i think its open to abuse, but if this practise was going on on a pay to play site would be up roar from the paying punters.i used to play on landmark bingo until was playing in free red bus bingo when a CH won a game.
They at once said sorry to the whole room and that it was a mistake ,a very serious mistake i thought and have never played on that bingo site since that night.As i say im not saying anything us under hand on oh my bingo just that as in most things in life i ( we) always see the negative side 1st. if i was a new site member i would at once think something was wrong.having been on here since last year i know the site is 100% above board. But new members may not have the same positive view of the site and 1st impressions always last.Sorry to sound negative but feel the good and the bad both should be talked about on here.

Thanks for voicing your concerns with us.
Please understand that OhMyBingo is a totally free bingo site and our CMs are completely voluntary. They earn points in exactly the same way as you and other players (refering friends, writing news e.t.c) and when they play they have exactly the same chance of winning as you and everyone else.
If anything you should thank the CMs for hosting the chat room and chat games for free - they're trying their best to make your time on the site more enjoyable. If they win please congratulate them - they deserve it :)

I wouldn't have anything to do with any site that wasn't 100% kosher and if you read any of my news reports you'll see that I have always been an advocate of fair play. The same goes for Bonbon and Emmy. It's true that CM's who are paid to do the job are not allowed to play but it's also true that on other sites where CM's are voluntary it is perfectly acceptable practise that they play. OMB is not alone in having this system. Much as we all adore OMB we'd be slightly tapped in the head if we did it for nowt AND had no chance of a win at Bingo. I also question HOW this system could possibly be open to abuse when we are simply players who wear red and give out omps for chat games .. we have no control over anything to do with how the games run nor the results of the bingo games. :-) |

I thought it was weird when I first played on a site where the CM's could play and win lol. This is a free site and we do the CMing voluntarily, just for the fun of it :) and it is great fun :)we can't even see our own cards!! LOL it's the fun of meeting all the lovely OMB members who enjoy their free bingo that makes it all the more enjoyable for us :) so we hope to see you in the chat room and WINNING :) x x good luck x x |
