I've been sifting through my emails ... the majority are from online bingo sites ... and I've been taking a bit more notice than I usually do.
Most of the time I just delete them unread en masse coz If I didn't I'd never get a thing done.
Today I decided to have a look at one or two of them .. especially those entitled "£10.00 waiting for you" or "££££'s FREE" typa thing.
The emails start off with such promise .... they miss me and they want to give me money .... it's there just waiting for me .... all I have to do is log on and .......... deposit :-(
Now call me picky but ... if I have to deposit then it isn't free ... I'm buying it.
The ONLY time I've been given owt coz they 'miss me' is from Bingo Hollywood (though it chokes me to admit it coz I don't like the site). But credit where credit's due ... there was a fiver waiting for me ... twice ... and twice I played .. and twice I saw the same old names waltzing off with the pots ... so it was a double edged sword really.
I have had wads of bonus money thrown at me at no cost to myself but that ALWAYS turns out to be monopoly money as I call it ... you can't keep a thing you might win from it .. and in my book that's about as useful as a chocolate fireguard.
The ideal online bingo site would be one where they don't insult your intelligence with not-so-cleverly-worded-offers and one where, even when you don't win, you feel you've been in the game ;-)
