I have noticed by going to my local bingo hall which is mecca bingo how low the pots are getting. For instance you can win £20 for 1 line £20 for 2 lines and then £100 for the house. The pots used to be worth way more than that and i am talking about a saturday night here. Also the halls are never full anymore. I know the smoking ban has put a lot of people off but never the less. There is a smoking area at mecca where lots of people do seem to stay all night playing. I am a smoker myself and do miss not being able to have a ciggie while i am playing but couldn,t spen my evening playing bingo in there.

So come on you bingo halls try to get us all back into the spirit of land line bingo. Give us a reason to want to go back to play the wonderful game by either increasing the pots or offering us some other promotions. Buy 1 get 1 free sounds like a good one to me because if you went with a friend your stake would be halved. But if by increasing the pot money they have to put the ticket price up even more, more people would be turning there back on it.
