Sleepers in the OhMyBingo Chat Room (23/03/2011)

I have noticed that people are unhappy when they stay logged on and go off and do other things,becouse they are not they to buy tickets it looks like there are lot's of players,there should be some way of letting you know if they are sleepers by ither changing the colour or something.

I know some people just come and chat, that's ok. But it the one's that just give up and leave there comp's on the online bingo game, I know that at night people just dose off I've done that myself but i'm sorry and have said so but when they do it the morning it does not make any sense.

We should all have a look at ourselves and try to stop doing this it's not fair to other users because when it come's to some game's we are not getting the omp's because the person above is a sleeper and not getting ticket's I know it petty but I believe it's not play.

I think the management should look in to way's of changing the player list and if your not playing or chating change the colour or after a certain time of not playing take them of the player list at that time that way it would be fare for all of us.

tickleikkle 24th Mar 2011	good to see the players are as unhappy with the sleepers as us cms are and that is why we changed the chat game rules on some of the chat games it would be fab if we can get an inactive boot on players not buying tickets after so many games or players could be hightlighted as not having tickets it would not only make it fairer but would save us cms a lot of time and effort trying to give out cgps :)xx

emma13583 24th Mar 2011	I agree to a certain point, Maybe players without tickets could be a lighter shade of grey. I have been a sleeper myself quite a few times, Not that i havent got tickets just that i have been unable to chat due to visitors, children or other circumstances. I think it should apply for people who havent had tix for say 5 games but not for roomies who don't chat, Lets not forget that some are shy or due to maybe a hardware issue cannot chat. just a thought. x

jaseyboi 24th Mar 2011	I wonder if there's a way of 'timing you out' if you're inactive for say 10 minutes - whilst I tend to agree with what your saying in regards to chat games etc I think the present system of saying thank you winner isn't that fair at the moment. I must say - there are times during the day when I tend to buy tix but dip in and out of the bingo room whilst doing other stuff. Equally, what if you go and make a drink like I have and miss it? You're still buying tix and should be entitled to claim free omps. The one big potential pitfall I can see immediately - is that, at present, it doesn't seem fair on those players with young kids that may need to tend to them while they play!! I think a timeout would be the perfect solution - that way CM's know that everyone is playing and wouldn't have to wait for thanks which, in turn, could slow the games. Say after 10 mins of no activity you time out n just have to log in again?

amyben08 25th Mar 2011	i agree with jaesy as i have 2 littles ones and i mite pop out to make a feed up for the baby with takes along time so yeah a timing out system would be good. i dont see the point in logging out to log bk in when im only going to be 15 minutes tops xx
