My First OhMyBingo Golden Hat Trick (13/04/2011)

So like others, I had read the new features news post with interest. One of the things regarding new developments in our very own online bingo community that caught my eye, was the gold hat-trick feature.

Of course I'd read that all that stood between me and a bonus goldie was to achieve a non-shared online bingo hat-trick (1 line, 2 line and house); with 20 or more players. Easier said than done, right? Of course I'd seen it happen to others; some incredibly lucky souls have even scored a hat-trick in golden hour - landing themselves an extra gold coin on top of the one they've already snaffled! Jammy things!

So imagine my surprise on Sunday a couple of games after Golden Hour when I found myself winning the one line prize. Our very own Pete the bingo caller, was calling the numbers and 1 line turned into the two line prize. So by this stage I'm kind of thinking that a gold hatty is within my grasp. Numbers came and went, and my ticket turned a gratifying colour of pink; leaving just 55 to complete my card. All my roomies were egging me on, and imagine my delight when it finally came and the message popped up informing me that, I was indeed, a gold hat trick winner! Personally I think it had a lot to do with Rosienanny threatening to bite Pete's legs if he didn't cough up the number I needed! :D So - another gold to add to the account - whoopie!
