Do You Like the Ability to Close Chat on OhMyBingo (03/07/2011)

Guys, just a quick one - do you like this feature?

Some people don't like to appear in chat so we gave you the option to close the chat room. The problem with that is that if you win and you're out of chat, the room sees that a non-roomie has won.

So, an open vote - shall we keep the ability to close chat or shall we revert to the original where if you're playing, you have to appear in chat?

trixee 3rd Jul 2011	there are pluses and minuses for the feature yes sometimes we can play but not have to be chatty but then some see a non roomie win as sus and not sure if they are buying
XxXlou09XxX 3rd Jul 2011	As a CM i like the ability to be able to turn the chat off and play as when am in the room not CM'ing because of the CM tag i feel i have to be there chatting if i am in the room so it's nice to have the option :) x
kellynjames 3rd Jul 2011	i personally use it all the time as sometimes i'm so busy i cant sit n do the wd ty gl. i think its far wiser to keep the option than to get rid cos while i'm able to log out when busy i'm still playing the odd games which in turn means extra coins on the board.
rosienanny 3rd Jul 2011	im not too sure about this,at first i thought what a good idea if you dont want to chat you dont have to ,but on the other hand chat is what makes omb such a good site,how are we going to get people to join in with chat games and get to know roomies if they are not there.
wintyvm 3rd Jul 2011	i think that the player should have a choice because sometimes the chat rolls so fast it makes you dizzy lol.so yes please keep it as it is
tickleikkle 3rd Jul 2011	i like the ability to sit out of chat sometimes its not often i do but its good that it is there as one of the cms its nice to be able to sit and play without constant questions when u are busy doing other stuff:)

jaseyboi 4th Jul 2011	I must say although I love to chat I do find this feature handy if I'm busy or whatnot and don't want to appear iggy. Plus - it's only there as an 'option' so players can decide whether to use it or not!

MadamEarwig 5th Jul 2011	i don't chat much but i do like to read others chat. What you could do is to put a lock on chat so if you reading something it doesn't move.

OMB_Manager 8th Jul 2011	Ok, we'll keep it guys. Please remember that a player winning a jackpot outside of chat doesn't mean anything is wrong! Been working on a 'lock' feature for a while :)
