I know you all have said this, maybe you have read other news letter about it, the fact is that some players choose to go OOC (out of chat) for some reason or other, they may be feeling under the weather or swearing (housework etc..), not in the mood for chatting or just don't like being in chat room.
Our CH's and most of the roomies like chat games that open up the possibility of various players winning OMP's in chat room with games like 'Upper Buddy', 'Lower Buddy' 'Pick a Pal' & Love is all around' etc... but players being OOC makes it very difficult to hand out OMP's in every game as if the winner is OOC there is no way of telling were they are on players list.
I have thought this through and have come up with what may be a solution (techies permitting) on some sites in user list you can tell who is in the room playing and who is on pre/buy buy the colour of their name in chat list or similar, so is it not possible to have a similar system on here, so as player enters room their name appears in chat room (in green) as ****has entered and user list as well, when they leave chat room their name shows again in green saying ****left chat but disappears from user list, is there not someway that when you enter chat/user list shows in grey and if you leave chat/user list shows name in a different colour, so that the player is showing in chat and OMP's can be given to other players, if the OOC player is the upper/lower etc.. buddy chat host can go 1 player up/down etc.. meaning OMP's can be given in all games whether player is in or out of chat.

| trixee 6th Dec 2011 | well said bunny players ooc for watever reason do sometimes mess up cgs esp wen its players ooc winnning several games in a row we all use no chat at times for convience or when we are busy and some kind of solution to still be able to award cg points would be brill xxxx |

| xbunnykinsx 7th Dec 2011 | Yes Rosienanny if a player is OOC they choose not to play chat game but them being OOC and winning mean's the CH's dont know who to award OMP's to in games like Upper/Lower buddy etc...so people that are in chat are missing out on OMP's as we dont know where they are on user list.... Oh amylumps sorry didnt mean it that way, as trixee said we all go OOC at times that isnt the problem its knowing who to give OMP's to because they are not showing on user list, my idea is to show OOC players on user list in diff colour or something so roomies would know your not being rude (not that anyone would ever think that of you) x. |
