Read This for OMB Meet 2012 Information (01/05/2012)

Well well well, it's OMB Meet 2012 information time!  This is a huge news post and we really need your help to make this the best Meet ever.  Firstly, it's important to remember that we will never be able to have the meet close to everyone, nor will we be able to make it affordable to everyone...it's just not possible.

After a lot of thought, we've decided to go back to Blackpool.  It might be a hassle for some of you - it certainly is for us lol - but we think it'll be fun in 5 years' time to still be having our Meets there etc.  

We've learnt from our last Meet that trying to fit loads of stuff in just doesn't work.  This Meet will be over two days and will be much more relaxed.

Now, the date...it's on OhMyBingo's free bingo birthday - the 7th of July!  We'll meet on Saturday 7th of July at The Big Blue Hotel in Blackpool.  Time to be confirmed.  In the afternoon we'll head off clay pigeon shooting - sounds like lots of fun!

We'll return to the hotel bar for some downtime, chatting and maybe even our soon-to-be famous raffle.  We'll then all have dinner together and play a few games of bingo with some cool prizes.  We might even have a little awards ceremony!

After that, to bed...although who knows where the night will take us/you lol.

The following morning we'll all have breakfast together and say our goodbyes...and then head home.

Right, next thing to talk about is money.  You will have to make your own way to Blackpool and pay for your accommodation.  After that, you're done.  OhMyBingo and our sponsors will cover your evening meal, shooting, bingo prizes, all our goody bag stuff that we love to do and maybe even the odd little surprise.  Most importantly for some of you, we're pretty sure we'll be able to cover the bar!

We think it would be great if you stayed in The Big Blue Hotel - it's where we'll be staying, along with the CMs.  Rooms book up quickly and the rate changes all the time, so we advise that you book asap.  A double room for single occupancy is £85, at the moment.  You might want to share to save on cost.  It also includes your breakfast.  There are some twin rooms available, so be quick.  You WILL be able to find cheaper accommodation down the road, but think of how amazing it will be to fall into bed at the end of the evening :).

If you would like to come to the Meet, please email meet@ohmybingo.com.  We will send you details for booking etc.  Please don't forward this email on to your fellow roomies - we really need everyone to email individually so we can keep track of people.  If you want to come with partners, they will be entertained in the same way as you :) - but please keep us posted, they can't just turn up on the day.

Lots more information is coming but you now know the date and location - so get involved!  Let's make this Meet huge...we hope you can make the effort to come and we assure you that if you do, you'll be looked after :)
