We've heard Buzz Bingo has donated over £500,000 to the Alzheimer's Society. How good is that?

Buzz Bingo, the UK's biggest bingo retail operator, has raised the half a million pounds from their dedicated Alzheimer’s Society Charity Game which has been running in the local Buzz Bingo halls since March 2018.

The donation to Alzheimer's Society and Alzheimer Scotland has helped to fund support in the community for people suffering from dementia.

The generous donation has helped to fund a total of 12 Alzheimer’s Society ‘Side by Side’ services across the UK and in Scotland, the money has been used to fund the Dementia Resource Centre.

A charity event was hosted at Buzz Bingo Tooting in South London where Sinéad Donoghue, Head of Corporate Partnerships at Alzheimer's Society received the cheque from Peter Brigden, Buzz Bingo's Chief Retail Officer.

Gala Bingo went through a huge transformation in 2018 which saw the popular bingo clubs rebrand to Buzz Bingo. And whilst the Gala brand still continues to run its own online bingo and casino site, Buzz Bingo now operates all the Gala Bingo clubs on the high street.

Buzz Bingo is owned by Caledonia Investments and there are currently 126 local bingo clubs in the UK.
