Lucky seats

Many players really believe they have a "lucky seat" - this went too far at one bingo venue when a fight broke out over such a seat and between them, the brawlers ended up with a broken nose and a black eye!

Lucky dabbers

It's not unusual to find a bingo player with 3 or 4 dabbers in their bag. The golden rule seems to be - if it drops on the floor it is VERY unlucky to use it again!

Lucky mascots

Not unusual to see an array of charms or cuddly toys at a bingo game but the strangest has to be the player who took her mothers ashes in an urn and sat with it on the table throughout the game!

Lucky habits

Walking around the table 3 times is seen to be lucky by some players as is patting or stroking various parts of the body before each game

Lucky clothes

You may see the weirdest outfits at a bingo game - all believed to be lucky for the wearer. the oddest has to be a "lucky" fur coat together with "lucky" slippers!!
