Shortbread biscuits
Ingredients

Caster sugar 55 grams

Plain flour 180 grams

Butter 125 grams


Recipe

Very simple and oh so delicious:

 

Mix all ingredients together to make a dough.

Press into a square tin and smooth off to about 2cm thick.

Score lines into the dough in rectangular shapes and put 4 or 5 fork holes into each rectangle.

Sprinkle with caster sugar and bake at around 160 degrees for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
